Since its inception, the Sustainable Buildings (SB 2030) program has successfully provided guidance for building energy efficiency in Minnesota. As we move towards 2025, when the energy targets shift to 90%-better, the program is evolving to meet project needs. This event will outline funding opportunities for high-performance buildings, provide updates on integrating electric vehicles into building infrastructure, and review proposed updates to the code landscape of Minnesota. Ongoing work updating and improving future-looking weather files will also be introduced with a panel discussing how best to develop actionable data and integrate it into design practice to improve resilience. The session will end with a tour of the Science Museum.
